Implementing and using viral load testing : practical tools

The results of the project per country of intervention

Viral load is one of the prerequisites for achieving the third 90 of UNAIDS’ global target by 2020 to eliminate HIV worldwide. However, access to this exam is still very limited in West and Central Africa. In Guinea, for example, the project introduced viral load measurement into the Guinean public health system for the first time in 2013. See below for the main results of the project by country:
